Police responded to Corleone Apartments, 1330 N. Park Ave., after a person called to report a female who did not live there was using the laundry facilities.

The female told police she was given permission to use the facilities by a "handicapped person" who lives at Corleone. The female said the hall director also gave permission.

The woman was advised of criminal trespass and theft of services. She collected her clothes and said she would not use the facilities any more.

A student's bicycle was stolen from the east side of Sierra Residence Hall, 541 N. Cherry Ave., Thursday Ÿ along with the cement parking block it was locked to.

The victim secured her Diamond Back Outlook mountain bike to the block with a U-lock at 4 p.m. Sept. 30. When she returned at 5:43 p.m. Thursday, the bike, U-lock and parking block were gone.

The victim said she didn't notice the bike missing sooner because she doesn't ride her bicycle every day.

A student reported the wheels and tires were stolen from his bicycle Tuesday.

The student said his bike was locked to a stairwell at Corleone Apartments with a U-lock from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The wheels, however, were not locked up.

The two aluminum alloy 24-inch wheels and tires are valued at $240.

Another student reported the theft of parts from his bicycle Wednesday.

The student said he secured his Dyno mountain bike to a bike rack at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. When he returned at 9 a.m. Wednesday, the bike's handlebars, gear shifters, brake handles and brake cable were missing. The value of the items is unknown.

A Giant Rincon mountain bike was stolen from the south side of McClelland Hall, 1130 E. Helen St., Thursday.

A student reported she secured her 21-speed bike to a parking block with a cable lock at 9:15 a.m. When she returned at 6 p.m., the bike and lock were gone. They are valued at $370.

An employee's bicycle was stolen from a laboratory in the Bio Sciences West building, 1040 E. Fifth St., between Sept. 29 and Sept. 30.

The employee did not report the theft sooner because she was not aware the bike was gone until she returned to work at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The bike was seen by co-workers at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 29, but when the co-workers returned at 3 p.m. Sept. 30, the bike was gone.

The bicycle was not secured, but access to the lab is locked and limited.

The white Trek Antelope 800 mountain bike has green letters and a white rear rack and water bottle holder. The value is $225.

A bicycle was reported stolen from the southeast side of parking lot 5065, at East Fifth Street and Tyndall Avenue.

A student secured her Cannondale MC400 mountain bike to a rack with a Specialized brand U-lock at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday. When she returned at 7:50 a.m. Thursday, the bike and lock were gone.

The bike is red with a purple fade and yellow letters. It is valued at $385.

A Murray GT 18-speed mountain bike was stolen from the north side of the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences Building, 1118 E. Fourth St., Wednesday.

A student secured his bike to a rack with a cable and combination lock at 12 p.m. When he returned at 1 p.m., the bike and lock were missing.

The bike is blue with black speckles and white letters. It is valued at $160.
