A student reported that his $1,500 bicycle was stolen Monday between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. from an area near the Modern Languages building. He told police he locked his red Cannondale mountain bicycle with a U-lock and a cable lock to a parking post before class. When he returned after class he said his bicycle and both locks were missing.

Police have no suspects.

A UA employee reported that his 1985 red Pontiac Fiero was stolen Monday from the parking lot at East Fourth Street and North Euclid Avenue. The owner told police he left his vehicle, valued at $2,500, in the lot at 8 a.m. and when he returned at 5 p.m. it was gone. He said the vehicle was secured but police found no signs of forced entry where the vehicle was parked.

Police have no suspects.

Someone stole a "Power Eagle" carpet cleaning machine from the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., between Feb. 17 and March 13.

An employee reported the $1,600 machine stolen Monday. He said it was last seen during an inventory in February. Police do not know why the theft was not reported sooner.

Police have no suspects.
