Meliora Architectural Gallery is presenting "Swaim Associates Ltd. Ä 25 years of Architecture," which displays a collage of pictures and sketches depicting the metamorphosis of an architectural design firm. Photographer Ruth Thorne-Thompson, known for her small-scale, toned, pinhole images of fabricated worlds, will be showing her work in an exhibition titled, "Within this Garden," appearing at the UA Center for Creative Photography through May 28. The board of directors of the Southern Arizona Division of the Arizona Historical Society presents "An Evening with Richard Clark and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra," a benefit concert to raise funds for exhibits and archives at the society. The UA School of Music will be presenting a free music and movement workshop for adults who work with pre-schoolers. The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 621-7469.
Arizona Theatre Company will open the doors of the Temple of Music and Art for a day of fun, festivities, and a special behind the scenes look at ATC's production of "Dracula." The day will highlight backstage tours of the historic Temple of Music and Art. Temple tours will be given on the hour starting at 11 a.m. Special technical demonstrations are also planned, focusing on the costumes and special effects that will be seen in ATC's production of "Dracula." Technical demonstrations begin on the half hour with the first at 12:30 p.m. The open house will last from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. For more information, call 884-8210.

It's a rock 'n' roll extravaganza this Sunday night at Club Congress. Gouramie Records celebrates the release of two new 45 singles for rising punk stars Teeth and garage rock monsters The Fells, by hosting a four band blowout at the Club. In addition to Teeth and The Fells, local acts Shovel and Helldriver will also perform. It'll cost you $3 to get in, but you'll get one of the new singles with admission.

The UA Museum of Art proudly presents the 1995 Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition. This year's event, which features the products of many sleepless nights of work on the part of thirteen MFA students, will be on display until April 23. The exhibition has a reputation of being eclectic and energetic, with artists exhibiting everything from photographs and illustrated books, to room size installations. Memphis indie rock stalwarts The Grifters will bring their blend of blues, rock and lo-fi squall to the DPC tonight. Joining them will be budding avant-noise makers Rocket #9, and the Magnetics. Tickets are $4.
