Winning at home is a key to winning a Pacific 10 Conference Southern Division championship. The Arizona baseball team seems to have lost its keys in the cracks of a couch.

The Wildcats lost the first two games of a three-game set with Cal Ä a team picked by many to finish last in the Six-Pac Ä 10-7 and 9-8 this weekend. The two teams finished the series yesterday.

The UA fell to 2-6 in Six-Pac play, 14-18-1 overall. The Wildcats also suffered a home series loss to UCLA earlier in the week. The Bruins, led by Tim Decinces, embarrassed the Wildcats with a 19-3 onslaught in the first game. Decinces has hit four home runs in the last five games against the UA.

A 6-5 victory Saturday tied Jerry Kindall with Frank Sancet as the all-time winningest coach in UA history. Clay Crossan earned the only win of the week for Arizona.
