A 24-year-old UA student committed suicide last Wednesday morning in her downtown Tucson apartment.
Amy Lynn McClelland, a creative writing and anthropology senior, was found by her boyfriend.
A memorial service was held last night at St. Francis in the Foothills.
McClelland was born in Espanola, New Mexico and moved to Tucson with her family when she was two years old.
One of McClelland's sisters, Jean, said her family is still trying to figure out what might have motivated Amy to end her life.
"I really wish we did know what happened," Jean said.

McClelland is survived by her mother, Beth-Louise-Nion, of Orange, Calif., her father Dalton, of Tucson, five sisters and one brother.
