A 1985 Jeep Wagoneer was stolen Tuesday afternoon from the parking lot at East Sixth Street and North Campbell Avenue, but was recovered five hours later with little damage.

The owner said he parked the $6,000 Jeep in the lot at 2 p.m., and when he returned at 5:30 p.m., it was missing. Police found no evidence at the scene but put out a missing vehicle report.

The Pima County Sheriffs Department recovered the vehicle at 9:30 p.m. No information was given on where the Jeep was found. The owner was notified of the recovery and told where he could pick up his Jeep.

A student reported the theft of his $1,600 bicycle Tuesday.

The owner said he locked his Ritchey Ultra 21-speed mountain bicycle to itself with a cable lock at 11 a.m. on the east side of the Economics building. When he returned an hour later the bicycle was missing.

Police have no suspects.
