The Arizona men's club soccer team will be seeing its first action since losing to Colorado State in the quarterfinal round of the national championship tournament.
The Wildcats are hosting the fifth-annual Wildcat Classic soccer tournament tomorrow through Sunday at Wildcat Field.
The three-day tournament features two brackets of four teams in round-robin play, with the top two finishers of each playing in the semifinals Sunday morning.
The Wildcats will start their run at their third tournament title at 8 p.m. tomorrow against the Artichokes of Scottsdale Community College, a squad Arizona defeated 4-1 last fall.
The Wildcats will then take on Colorado Saturday morning at 11 before they finally close out round-robin play later in the day versus intrastate rival Arizona State at 7 p.m.
The other bracket consists of Northern Arizona, New Mexico State, Big Dogs and Arizona II.
After the semifinal matches are played, the winner from each bracket will meet at 11 a.m. in the championship game.
The Wildcats hope to continue their storied past at the tournament this year by winning their third title in five years. The Wildcats have never failed to make it to the tournament's championship game. After winning the first two titles, the Wildcats lost consecutive title games to Texas A&M and Sting, respectively.
