Local architects and architecture firms are wrapping up Architecture Week '96 with activities at the UA tomorrow.

The events of the week have included a Southwest Gas Big Golf Tournament, downtown walking tours, and exhibits and lectures on the UA campus in the College of Architecture.

The university activities will begin tomorrow with a student and alumni exhibit at the T.M. Sundt Design Gallery, College of Archi-tecture. There will also be a lecture from Jane Wein-zapfel, UA alumna and principal in the firm of Leer, Weinzapfel Associates Archi-tects, Inc. in Boston, Mass.

The lecture will consist of samples of her firm's projects, according to a press release from Zimmerman and Associates, Inc., the firm promoting local Architecture Week '96 activities.

The UA College of Architecture will also sponsor a design studios open house to be held Friday as well. Those attending the open house will receive a tour of the three design studios in the Architecture building, which houses the work of architecture students.

Beth Borucki, of Zimmerman and Associates, said Architecture Week '96 is a statewide event conducted voluntarily, to try to get information out about architecture.
