To the editor,

I read Dan Rosen's commentary on Jason Terry with great interest and I would like to reiterate and completely agree with his observations. It seems that Dan and I have exactly the same thoughts on this matter. J.T. has done more this year than any other college basketball player in the country and he should really be considered for National Player of the Year.

Well, let me just outright say that he is the best basketball player in college this year. My idea is that the UA should start some kind of promo to get this guy some serious media so that the east coast media, which seem to have a lot to say in these kind of situations, recognizes J.T.'s superiority.

I mean, schools do these kind of campaigns for the Heisman voting so why not do it in this case. Even without looking at the intangibles that J.T. brings to the court every game and just sticking with the numbers, he is way above the rest of the crew. Elton Brand gets so much attention just because he's at Duke even though in my opinion, he's just a Micheal Wright (who doesn't even get much national attention), with one more year's experience. Richard Hamilton has been heading downhill the last month and Mateen Cleaves is more overrated than Notre Dame before they played USC.

Anyhow, my point here is clear! J.T. needs the support of all basketball fans at the UA - as fairweather as some may be - and the rest of the Western United States so that he can get the props that he deserves. The John Wooden award has his name written all over it. Thanks Jason for a great year and I (and I am sure the rest of the UA) wish you all the best at the next level.
