Recker recovering from crash, optimistic about future

Two months after he was involved in a severe car accident that left one man dead, UA junior basketball player Luke Recker yesterday said he will be healed and ready to practice by December. "I'm feeling pretty well right now, actually," Recker said. "Things are coming along. It's difficult, but I'm adjusting well. I like it out here a lot and I can't wait to get back out on the court."

The Emmy Awards were given out Sunday night and big surprise, the Academy congratulated the same people as last year and the year before. The networks have thought and thought, finally deciding on 38 new shows that they think will be the next "Fraiser" or "Ally McBeal." Here's a short list of the most promising shows - or at least the most interesting of those to debut within the next couple of weeks.
