UA student says she was misled about scholarship
	Hoping to protect students from lurking dangers in the campus community, UA faculty and staff often urge students to be careful at on-campus teller machines, campus libraries and while walking alone at night. However, warnings against on-campus advertisements are rarely heard.

Recker recovering from crash, optimistic about future
	Two months after he was involved in a severe car accident that left one man dead, UA junior basketball player Luke Recker yesterday said he will be healed and ready to practice by December. "I'm feeling pretty well right now, actually," Recker said. "Things are coming along. It's difficult, but I'm adjusting well. I like it out here a lot and I can't wait to get back out on the court."

A day of action?
	Get up! Stand up! Stand up for your rights! Indeed, the attendees at the march for Mumia Abu-Jamal from Cesar Chavez Park to police headquarters on Saturday were not giving up the fight. They had a cause, passion and direction on the national day of action for Mumia, a political prisoner in Philadelphia facing the death penalty. More frightening, few even know his name. Citizens are being imprisoned for their beliefs, and you could be next. The government must hear you.

New television lineup features freaks, presidents and aliens
	The Emmy Awards were given out Sunday night and big surprise, the Academy congratulated the same people as last year and the year before. The networks have thought and thought, finally deciding on 38 new shows that they think will be the next "Fraiser" or "Ally McBeal." Here's a short list of the most promising shows - or at least the most interesting of those to debut within the next couple of weeks.
