Creative art takes the sentimental route with today's Lionel Romback Gallery exhibit, "The Ties that Bind: Construction of Family, Childhood and Home in the Visual Arts" in the UA Fine Arts Complex. This event, sponsored by the Art History Graduate Student Association, will feature national and local artists exploring family values with an artistic flair. If you have been putting the required test off, and aren't feeling confident about your writing skills, stop by today's 4 p.m. lecture on "Analysis and Time Management During the Exam." Socially provocative poet and classics scholar Anne Carson will read excerpts from her published works at tonight's 8 p.m. poetry center reading in the Modern Languages auditorium.
