Fans can greet the Wildcats this afternoon when a welcome-home parade winds its way to Arizona Stadium.
The parade starts at Tucson International Airport's freight landing area, moves onto South Tucson Boulevard to East Valencia Road, then to Palo Verde Boulevard until it turns into North Alvernon Way, onto East Broadway Road, then North Campbell Avenue. After reaching Campbell, the parade turns onto East Enke Drive and heads into the stadium.
Gates 1-9 on the east side of the stadium open at 11 a.m., and the rally will commence at 1:30 p.m. The team's charter plane lands at Tucson International at noon, but fans are asked not to congregate at the airport, and instead show their support at the rally.
SunTran will offer a shuttle service from the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave., to the stadium between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. General fare is $3 round trip, $1.50 for seniors or disabled riders, and free for children under 5.
Concessions and entertainment will be available at the rally. Admission is free.
