Move to not affect services

The Bursar's office will continue to operate while it is temporarily relocated to the old CatCard office in the basement of the Memorial Student Union for two-and-a-half weeks.

The office will remain open for all businesses between Oct. 13 and Oct. 31 in room nine on the lower level of the union , said Lucia Baur- Zegarski, an administrative assistant at the Bursar's office.

The current location of the Bursar's office, in the University of Arizona Administration Building, will undergo renovations during the temporary change.

New carpeting will be laid and the office cubicles and furniture will be reorganized.

Some students said they worry the move may create difficulties in receiving services.

"I think it would be cumbersome for students to get down there and there is not enough space - it might be too crowded," said Steve Keith, a management information systems and operations management senior.

But Baur-Zegarski said students should be assured regular business will not be disrupted by the change.

Other students said they do not think the move will affect them at all.

"I don't really care," said Nathan Goldfarb, a communication senior.
