There's no better time than summertime to broaden your horizons - internationally recognized visual artist Marvin Lowe will speak today at noon in room 307 of the Art Building as part of a multi-cultural series for the UA Art department. Lowe, who also studied music at Julliard in New York and worked on a space program at the University of Iowa, has mixed media prints on display at over 83 museums and universities worldwide. Skip staring at the dry desert and head over to campus to catch a glimpse of beauty on the big screen - the UA media arts department Summer Cinema Series "The Genres of Hollywood" continues today at 3 p.m. in room 150 of the Harvill building with "Gilda," a film noir about World War II featuring the provocative pin-up Rita Hayworth.
