Can't decide whether to make your resume one or two pages? Not sure what questions to expect during your big interview or if you should wear "passive" colors or "aggressive" colors? Well, you're not alone. To get these - and many more - questions answered by people who know what you should expect, be sure to attend today's Interviewing Skills Workshop at 10 a.m. The one-hour workshop is at Old Main, room 222. For more information, contact the Career Services office at 621-4224.

The bands on the UA Mall not cutting it for you? Well, you're in luck, because the University Medical Center is hosting a concert of a different variety today from noon to 1 p.m. The University of Arizona Steel Band, which is comprised of UA percussion students, will perform a "foot-tapping, hip swaying" reggae tribute in the UMC's DuVal Auditorium. Parking is free. For more information, call 626-7301.

Ahh, the fall season. Classes are in full-swing, the Holiday season is just around the corner and finals are the last thing on your mind. About the only thing that's got you down is the constant sneezing caused by your allergies, right? Well, that could change. The Respiratory Sciences Center is looking for healthy volunteers between the ages of 18-65 to donate blood, which will be used to determine how different things stimulate blood cells to have different reactions. Volunteers will be compensated for their work, but they can't be pregnant or suffer from any illnesses. For more information contact 626-3168.

What do White Dwarfs, Supernovas, Keppler and shooting stars have in common? Answer: they probably confused every astronomy student at one point in their studies. For those looking to make up that missed knowledge, or those with an interest in astronomy, head over to room N210 of the Steward Observatory at 4 this afternoon. Dr. Philip Massey is giving his "Understanding Massive Solar Evolution" lecture, and all students and faculty are invited to attend free of charge. Call Pat Breyfogle at 318-8115 for more information about the lecture.

In today's business world, the final factor in determining whether you are able to "seal the deal" could be your effectiveness in a leadership role. To help prepare students for such leadership roles, the Office of Student Programs is sponsoring this evening's leadership workshop, "The Making of a Team: Using Myers Briggs to Enhance Your Leadership Style." The workshop runs from 5 to 6:30 in the Memorial Student Union's Tucson Room. To get the skinny on this event, call Matt Helm at 626-4905.
