Good old Peter Likins is taking some hints from the presidential candidates and trying to make himself more accessible for students and staff to ask questions. While the candidates will be debating policies tonight during the first of the debates, Likins will discuss the state of the UA and its own policies in the second of his Campus Town Hall meetings. All members of the UA community are invited to raise their concerns during this forum, which starts at 11:30 this morning in the DuVal Auditorium of the Arizona Health Sciences Center. If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you need to rush over to "The Mighty Pen: Writing to Persuade and Influence" workshop. The program is designed to help you find your voice in your writing by choosing the right tone for your target audience, and how to anticipate your readers' reactions, two key concepts if you want to verbalize your ideas so people understand what you're getting at.
