Ford donating $3 million to ASU

By The Associated Press

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Ford Motor Co. has announced an agreement to donate about $3 million to Arizona State University's colleges of Business and Engineering and Applied Sciences.

The money will help pay for faculty salaries, scholarships, undergraduate and graduate fellowships, research, curriculum development, technology upgrades, building renovations and career management services.

ASU is one of 31 schools selected to receive money through Ford's College Relations Sponsor Program. The donation will be spread out over the next five years.
