TUCSON, Ariz. - Two men were arrested in separate bank robberies in the city, police said.
Kiala Garcia, 43, was being held on $7,500 bond Wednesday at the Pima County jail in connection with a holdup Tuesday at the National Bank of Arizona, said police Sgt. Judy Altieri.
Officers followed a truck used in the robbery to the house where Garcia was staying, according to Altieri.
She said Garcia also was charged with another bank robbery on Oct. 16.
"There was evidence found and similarities with the way that the two robberies were committed, along with a video that matched the suspect," Altieri said.
Robert M. Kirby, 43, was being held in Pima County Jail on one count of robbery in connection with a holdup Tuesday at a Bank One branch.
Police said Kirby was arrested at a neighborhood near the bank within minutes of the robbery.
