Can't miss an episode of Law and Order? Fascinated by The Practice? Jump on the bandwagon by watching the real life version of these shows. Ronald Dworkin, a professor at New York University's law school, will discuss "Do Values Conflict?: A Hedgehog's Approach" at 10 this morning in the James E. Rogers College of Law. So you love those African drum beats and Cuban-style guitar playing, but you don't really know how these music forms evolved. It doesn't really matter though because the African studies and Latin American studies departments are hosting a lecture by University of Colorado at Boulder professor Jualynne Dodson that will explore the traditions and heritage behind these cultures. Dodson will address "Religion and Empire: African-Derived Traditions and Cuba's Humanitarian Programming." The speech starts at 4 p.m. in the Martin Luther King Building, Room 209.

You know you don't really have to do homework all night, so why not use that spare time to tour a haunted dungeon? Well not really. It's actually the Yuma dorm, but it's been transformed into a quasi-dungeon for Halloween. Gather all your friends and come out for some spooky fun. Tours start at 8 p.m. and 12 a.m. You only need to bring two cans of food for entry, but if you can't spare that, you need to scrounge up $2.

You're about to graduate in May, and you have no idea how to start looking for a job. Well, the first step is to make a resume. And if you've never made on e before, you'll probably need some help. So swing by the resume workshop at 3 p.m. today to gain all the skills and tips you need to impress potential employers. The workshop will be held in Room 202 of the Chemistry and Biological Services Building.

You've spent all semester learning how to write your papers, but now you don't know how to put on those finishing touches that take it from a B to an A. The Writing Skills Improvement Program will help you with "The Documented Essay: Organization, Works Cited, Checklist for Revision." The program starts at 5 this evening in Modern Languages Room 410.

Chamber music may seem like a thing of the past, but the school of music and dance is trying to bring it back into popularity. Tomoko Uchino will perform piano pieces in a doctoral chamber recital.
