Pornographic images were seen posted on a bulletin board inside a UA building Thursday morning, reports stated.

A UA employee called police after she saw posters containing photographs - of naked men and women - inside the Modern Languages building, 1423 E. University Blvd.

Police took the posters and placed them into UAPD property as evidence.

Police arrested two students after an officer saw a group of individuals carrying a drunk woman returning from a greek activity, reports stated.

Police were at the Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, 1900 E. Speedway Blvd., when they noticed the group of students walking east on East Speedway Boulevard. Officers spoke with Joseph Gossman, of the 2400 block of Whispering Pines Avenue, and Shelton Trotter, of the 1000 block of East North Campus Drive. Both students were 18 years old.

Officers noticed that Gossman had slurred speech and was swaying and stumbling while walking. Gossman told officers that he had been drinking at a "date dash." He also told officers that he had been arrested previously for minor in possession of alcohol in Tempe.

Trotter first told officers that she was an Arizona State University student, but then told police that she was matriculating at the UA. She had a strong odor of intoxicants from her mouth and had vomit on her pajama pants. Trotter informed officers that she had been drinking earlier in the night, reports stated.

Trotter began to cry and said, "My dad is going to kill me," when she learned that she and Gossman would be cited and released for being a minors in possession of alcohol.

A UA student contacted police early Saturday morning after he lost more than $1,000, reports stated.

The student had placed $1275, in cash, into an envelope. He said he last saw the envelope when he placed it into his notebook and believes that the envelope may have fallen out somewhere near campus. He has also contacted the Tucson Police Department with similar information.

The student said he does not believe that the money was stolen. There are no suspects and no witnesses at this time.

A UA employee called police Thursday night when she learned that a drug dealer was trespassing inside a residence hall.

Allen Yu, 19, told officers that he knew he was not allowed back into Sky View Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St. Yu told police that he had nowhere else to go. He also said that he had spent the night in a friend's room the previous night, but denied that he had entered the residence hall through a open window.

The hall director informed police that the student was kicked out of the residence hall in November for selling cocaine.

Yu was arrested and released on suspicion of trespassing. He was informed that if he returned to Sky View Apartments, he would be arrested again.

The hall director is planning on pressing charges for trespassing, reports stated.

A Tucson man was arrested near campus on drug charges after police performed a traffic stop on his vehicle, reports stated.

Officers stopped the vehicle at East University Boulevard and North Euclid Avenue after they noticed that the vehicle's registration had expired.

Police spoke with the driver, Froilan Lopez, 19, of the 1200 block of East Haven Street. Lopez opened the glove compartment to look for proof of insurance at the officer's request.

When Lopez opened the glove compartment officers saw a glass smoking pipe. He tried to conceal the pipe under some papers, but police confiscated it.

Police cuffed and searched Lopez. They found a baggy of a green leafy substance in his shirt pocket. Lopez told officers that he and the passenger were smoking the substance. The passenger was also questioned and informed police that there was a loaded 12-gauge shotgun in the rear of the vehicle. Police confiscated and secured the weapon.

Lopez was administered field sobriety tests and passed.

He was arrested and transported to Pima County Jail for suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of marijuana, not having registration and not having mandatory insurance, reports stated.

Lopez's vehicle was secured into a UA parking lot at his request.
