Put your homework down and come out for an evening of fun. The University Activities Board is sponsoring a re-release of the classic "This is Spinal Tap," only this one has new scenes. The show starts at 8 this evening in the Social Sciences Auditorium and tickets are free. You can't get much cheaper than that. You can also win free posters, t-shirts and videos. Calling all campus organizations. There is a mandatory informational meeting tonight to renew your recognition and to find out how to get funding from ASUA. The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Seminar Series kicks off a new season with a lecture about the pioneers of flight. "The Wright Flyers: Test Results from the Full Scale Wind Tunnel at Langley," will examine how wind affects flight patterns. Robert Ash, an aerospace engineering professor from Old Dominion University in Virginia, will present his theories at this inaugural seminar. Eat to the Beat continues today with a performance by Cordon Londell. Enjoy a bite to eat on the Mall while listening to Londell serenade you. The show starts at noon and lasts till 1 p.m.

Check out James Hugh Pogue's doctoral oral defense as he takes the stage to present "A Comparative Analysis of African American Students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Predominantly White Institutions." Come learn how race affects one's experiences at different educational institutions at this 9 a.m. seminar. The lecture will be held in the Education Building Room 311. Swing by the UA Museum of Art for an exhibit on "The Order of Pictures: Series, Cycles, Portfolios and other Connected Images," a display that features the order of artwork. Humans have a knack for ordering things - dates, sizes and seasons. This showing examines how artists organize their work, from 15th and 16th century texts to contemporary comics. The showcase is on exhibit until Sept. 20.
