The Arizona gymnastics team close out a two-meet homestand today against Oregon State and Denver at McKale Center. The meet starts at 7:30 p.m.

Arizona (2-8) has lost three-straight and is looking for its first Pac-10 win of the season.

The Beavers hold the No. 20 spot, and the Pioneers are ranked No. 24 in the nation.

UA head coach Bill Ryden said the GymCats are ready for a win after losing to Utah last weekend at home.

Ryden said he - and the team - is optimistic about the meet.

"From our standpoint, our focus is to continue to grow and fix the mistakes from our past competition," he said. "We just want to get better and better every week."

Ryden said he expects a strong meet from senior Kara Fry and junior Randi Liljenquist. Liljenquist finished first in the all-around against Utah and is ranked No. 17 in both beam and floor events this week.

The Beavers are coming off a win over California, and the Pioneers come into McKale after a loss to Louisiana State last weekend.

All three teams are either ranked or have players ranked in the individual events.

"We are going to face two very good programs this weekend," Ryden said. "It's going to be a great competition."
