Just because the school year has started doesn't mean all the fun and games are over. In fact, they are just beginning as the UA Campus Recreation brings Wildcat Welcome 2001 to the UA Mall today. Activities will be held between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. For more information on the chaos on the Mall, call the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership at 621-8046.

With the first day of classes on its way, plenty of students are searching for information amongst the rubble and construction. If you are a new UA freshman looking for some answers, check out the Freshman Orientation Information booth today on the UA Mall. Representatives from the orientation office will be on-hand between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. For more information, call Maria Barron at 621-1270.

Renew your faith with the new school year, and stop by the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship group table today between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the UA Mall. Members will have bottles of cold water to distribute to students, as well as information on upcoming events and group membership goals. If you are interested in joining, call Guido at 320-7997 for more information.

If you brought a bicycle to school with you, you may want to consider registering your wheels. UAPD recommends the registration process, which is currently available through UA Parking and Transportation Services. Tables will be open on the UA Mall today between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for students to register their bicycles with the university. For more information on registering or SunTran services, call Chuck Hammel at 626-7433.

Are you having trouble finding the career path to take, or simply not sure which classes will benefit you in the future? Check out UA Career Services walk-in hours today between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Counselors will be available in Old Main, Room 104 to assist you in planning your future. Please bring any relevant information, including class schedules and career goals, to your walk-in session. For more information, call Career Services at 621-4224.

Are you new to the university or to Tucson in general? Check out what the UA has to offer at tonight's Wildcat Night at the Student Recreation Center. Students will have the opportunity to get information on the 38 sports clubs on campus, as well as snatch free food, drinks and door prizes. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. in the main center and run until 9 p.m. For more information, call the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership at 621-8046.
