The job opportunity of a lifetime awaits you on the UA Mall. A recruiter from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., set up a booth this morning and will handle questions and recruit students for employment chances with the well-known amusement park. UA Career Services is sponsoring the booth. The recruiter will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Becky Armijo at 621-2372.


Hoots, laughs and full-on guffaws will be handed out in free helpings at the UAB complimentary advance screening of Touchstone Pictures' new release "Sorority Boys." The movie portrays some guys who dress up as women to lead a sorority lifestyle. For free passes to the screening, go to the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership in the Student Union Memorial Center, Room 404. Passes are required to enter the movie, as is a valid identification card because the movie is rated R. Seating is limited and not guaranteed. The showing will be held at The MUSE, behind Dairy Queen on East Sixth Street and North Fourth Avenue. For more information, contact Diana Ziegler at 621-0768.


Leadership is an underrated but valuable commodity in college graduates. The UA recognizes its importance, so it sponsors a series of workshops to teach students how to better lead and teach. The Spring 2002 Leadership Workshop, "Boundaries," will be held tonight at 7 in the Park Student Union, Turquoise Room. Donna M. Watson of the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership will present the workshop. Students who complete seven or more workshops throughout the year can earn a certificate of Leadership Enrichment, and students who complete 20 or more classes can become a Certified University of Arizona Student Leader. In celebration of Black History Month, the Africana Studies department will hold a free showing of "Jazz," a movie that traces the roots of the African-American community in New Orleans. The show follows the presence of African-Americans in the area from the past to the present. The show begins at 5 p.m. in the Pima Residence Hall conference room, 1340 E.
