Today last day to pay tuition

Students with outstanding balances will be dropped

Students who have not paid their tuition or owe more than $25 in fees will have their registration cancelled at 4 p.m. today.

As of last Wednesday, more than 2,000 students had not paid, and $8 million in expected revenue was still outstanding, said Randy Richardson, interim vice president for undergraduate education.

Six former UA football players failed to make it through one of professional football's toughest weekends.

Center Bruce Wiggins, defensive end Van Tuinei, fullback Paul Shields, defensive end Joe Tafoya, offensive tackle Marques McFadden and wide receiver Rodney Williams were all released or waived by National Football League teams over the weekend, just one week before the start of the NFL season.

Why do we have to be hit in the face with abortion advertising every time we go to the Daily Wildcat online site? We're talking about a procedure that kills a baby in a mother's womb. Why would you even permit such advertising? The fact that killing these babies is "legal" is meaningless. It was once legal to own and kill black people, and it was once legal to kill Jewish people under Hitler's reign...
