Treating people with respect is an assumed behavior of well-educated people. Taking that extra step to understanding and helping people who are different is a great way to succeed and lead a happy life. UA Residence Life figured that one out and thus sponsors SAFE ZONE training sessions, designed to provide anyone interested with information about the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community. Participation is required for everyone in attendance. The session is free and open to anyone affiliated with UA. Registration requires a simple e-mail to safezone@life.arizona.edu. Locations of the meetings will be e-mailed in response to registration. For more information, call 626-4855.
