Is microbial genetics a little too much for you? Have you started to rethink that fiber optics lab? Well, if you want to drop a class, today is the last day to do so without running in loops and embarking on wild goose chases for important signatures. It's also the last day to switch a class to or from audit grading. If you attempt to drop a class after today, a dean's signature is required and you will receive a "W" grade in the system. It pays to move your butt and get it done today.
Not sure where you want to live next year? Stop by the UA Mall in front of the Administration building to check out the UA Housing and Off-Campus Living Fair. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., representatives of UA Off-Campus Housing will be available to answer questions about the issues that come with living on your own. Vendors from the Tucson area will also attend to offer assistance with setting up utilities and insurance. For more information, contact Heather Gasser at 621-8046, e-mail her at gasser@email.arizona.edu or visit the Web site at http://www.union.arizona.edu/csil/csa/offcampus.php.
Move your body and jam to the groove during lunch today at the Center Stage performance at the DuVal Auditorium in the University Medical Center, 1501 N. Campbell Ave. From noon to 1 p.m. the University of Arizona Steel Band will bust out some calypso, reggae and classical tunes with a Caribbean twist. Lunch is not provided (neither are margaritas), so a brown bag or carry-out food is a great item to tote along. The performance is free. For more information, contact Katie Riley at 626-4828.
If you are looking to the realm of mass media or communications for a career, the UA Career Services Center has a forum for you this evening between 6 and 7.
