The family of a UA student who died in an alcohol-related accident last year have filed suit against the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity for allegedly pressuring him to drink during rush initiations.

Hundreds dropped from classes for not paying tuition

Monday the last day to re-register without $300 late fee

Four hundred fifty-seven students had their classes dropped late Tuesday for having outstanding tuition and fees, said Randy Richardson, interim vice president of undergraduate education at the UA.

Richardson said that as of Tuesday morning, 1,247 students had not paid, but 790 of those did so on the last day.

Lee column refreshing

Our student body was in desperate need for the commentary written by Jessica Lee, "The Best Deal in Town." It was refreshing to see that someone actually took the time to investigate what the UofA Bookstore has to offer students, instead of automatically assuming that the store is involved in a conspiracy to make the lives of financially strapped students even more stressful.

CCP's curator explains exhibit's logistics

Anyone visiting the Center for Creative Photography from now until the end of September can witness documented American history at no charge.

"Indivisible" is the gallery's exhibition that depicts, through photographs and audio interviews, 12 communities filled with common Americans uniting for a positive change.
