Skip the long administration lines and look for another way to leave your mark on Tucson at today's Volunteer Center of Tucson information table on the UA Mall. Representatives will be recruiting students and faculty members to join area task forces for needy organizations. If you are interested in donating your time to the Tucson community, stop by the information table today between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. For more information, please contact Sean at 881-3300 ext. 139.

Grab a seat under the stars and check out tonight's Wildcat Welcome 2001 Flandrau Planetarium night. The evening begins at 8 p.m. with an open skygazing and explanation of the world beyond. For more information on admission and a list of the evening's events, please contact the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership at 621-8046.

Put on your cleats and grab your lucky bat, the time has come again for UA intramurals. There are currently spaces open for speed soccer, triples volleyball, team tennis and flag football. For more information on player fees and game schedules, please contact Mirum G. Washington White at the Student Recreation Intramurals office at 621-8723.

If you're looking for a way to burn some calories but don't enjoy stereotypical organized sports, check out the Outdoor Adventures promotional booth on the UA Mall today between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Information will be available on a variety of outdoor-related equipment and activities offered through the Student Recreation Center. For more information, please call Scott Clark at 621-8233.

Have a break between classes and not sure what to do with your extra time? Stop by the UA Mall, behind Old Main, and check out what the new vendors have to offer. Wildcat Welcome 2001 is sponsoring this campus-wide event, offering a variety of free prizes, drinks and games. For more information on this event, being held between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., please call the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership at 621-8046.

Under all of the construction signs around campus lies a plethora of cultural opportunities to fill your days and evenings. Check out the current displays at such UA museums as the Center for Creative Photography and the Arizona State Museum. Information about exhibits at CCP can be found by calling 621-7968. For up-to-date Arizona State Museum display schedules, contact the main office at 621-4694 or 621-6302.
