My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, now prepare to walk over to the Turquoise Room of Park Student Union to see "The Princess Bride." UAB Films will present the classic flick - with its pirates, stable boys and abnormally large rodents - tonight and tomorrow at midnight. Admission is just $1. For more information, contact Diana Ziegler at 621-0768.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it's probably a member of the Oregon volleyball team. The Oregon Ducks will be here to take on the Wildcats in the Pacific 10 Conference season opener tonight at 7 in McKale Memorial Center. Admission is $5 for the general public, $3 for senior citizens, and free for UA students with a valid ID. For more information, contact the McKale Ticket Office at 621.2287

I can't think of anything witty to preface this, but you should keep reading anyway. Then when you're finished doing that, go listen to John Kececioglu of UA's department of computer science speak on "Computing Provable Good Maps of Chromosomes by Branch-and-Cut" today at 2 p.m. The lecture will be in the Engineering building, Room 301. For more information, contact Meg Askey at 621-2274.

FREE FOOD! And as an added bonus, you can attend a lecture on "Type II Supernovae as Distance Indicators." Mario Hamuy, UA astronomy doctoral student, will begin the lecture at 3 p.m. in the Steward Observatory, Room N210. Refreshments will be served beforehand at 3 p.m. For more information, contact Jane Price at 318-8115.

Pry yourself away from your textbooks and class notes and visit the Arizona State Museum's annual book sale. The sale will feature an expanded selection in art, architecture, anthropology, ethnic cooking, Southwest archaeology, Native American culture, poetry, fiction, non-fiction and more. A members-only preview runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., while the rest of the sale runs today and tomorrow from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. For more information, contact Martin Kim at 626-5886.

If all those books from the book sale leave you feeling smarter, go one step further and start planning your career. Professional counselors will be available to help you at the Old Main receptionist desk today between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sessions are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and will include discussion about career planning and job search needs. For more information, contact Career Services at 621-4224.
