Take a break from the scorching heat and sneak a seat at tonight's Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium presentation of "Mars Quest." This new show about the fiery planet reveals more than a decade of research devoted to understanding Mars. Welcome back your Arizona Wildcat football team this afternoon at an off-campus reception. Open your mind and your eyes to a whole new world of science at today's optical sciences colloquium titled, "Optical Vortices." The lecture will be given by optical sciences professor Grover Swartzlander in the Meinel building, Room 410.
