Eve 6 concert cancelled
Three local bands will still perform tonight at CatFest
ASUA and UAB officials announced last night that Eve 6, the nationally recognized rock band scheduled to perform tonight at Centennial Hall, has cancelled its UA performance as a result of illness.
Max Collins, the band's lead singer, sent a fax to the Associated Students of the University of Arizona office stating that his case of severe laryngitis had forced the band to cancel Thursday's show in Sacramento, Calif. in addition to tonight's show at Centennial.

IFC passes new ruling as a safety, expense measure
As part of a plan to enhance safety and reduce spending, the IFC handed down a resolution Tuesday night limiting alcohol-related greek events to just four per year.

Give Christians a break
Dear Cory,
Michael Medved is no doubt a conservative, however, he is a conservative member of the Jewish faith (see: www.michaelmedved.com/bio.htm), not a "right-wing Christian" as your opinion piece implied.

CatFest meets catwalk
Many events commemorate start of school
Style or substance? Tonight there's no need to choose. One can go to CatFest to see pretty girls and cute clothes, stick around to see some bands play, then sign up with the Red Cross for its blood drive next week. And all this is free!
