Concerts and Events:

St. Lawrence String Quartet will perform in the Leo Rich Theater at the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave., tonight at 8. Tickets are $5 at the door. Call 577-3769 for more information.

Tucson Film Off presents an ongoing production of visiting filmmakers. Siobhan Roome uses scripts from her senior bachelor of fine arts students to demonstrate how a production designer develops a design concept for production tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in the Harvill building, Room 104.

The department of German studies presents the film "Fear of Heights," an unusual love story about a man from the city and a middle-aged farmer's daughter. Admission to the movie is free, and it plays tomorrow night at 7:30 in the Modern Language auditorium.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company presents "The Complete History of America - Abridged" Friday and Saturday at the Invisible Theater, 1400 North First Ave. Call 882-9721 for more information and admission prices.

Dan Goggin's musical comedy "Nunsence" opens at the Cabaret Theater in The Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott Ave. Friday. The show starts at 8 p.m.; tickets are $11. Call 733-1076 for more information.

Frank Wiens performs a piano recital Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Music building, Room 232. Following the recital, Wiens will perform a master class featuring five Tucson piano students. Tickets are available at the door and are $8 for the recital and $12 for the recital with the master class.

Bicas is holding their sixth annual Bike Art Auction Sunday from sunset to 10 p.m. Admission includes a potluck dinner, band performances and art. The auction will take place at 44 W. 6th St. Admission is free.

The Arizona Opera presents Mozart's "Don Giovanni" at the Tucson Convention Center Music Hall Sunday at 2 p.m. for one show only. The center is located at 260 S. Church Ave. Tickets are $20 and available by calling 882-8585

Emo band The Juliana Theory performs at Skrappy's, 201 E Broadway Blvd, Monday. Tickets are $10 at the door, and the show starts at 7 p.m.
