When people hear the word "magic" these days, they probably associate it with Harry Potter. In the case of classical opera, though, it has to do with flutes and bells.

Today's Pick:
The School of Theatre Arts presents Jose Rivera's vivid and vivacious play, "Giants Have Us in Their Books: Six Na•ve Plays." The story is a fairy tale of sorts, in which giants read about humans instead of vice versa. Directed by Wendy Gordon, the performances run at 7:30 tonight through Sunday at the Directing Studio, Room 116 of the Drama building. Admission is free, but tickets are still necessary due to the studio's limited seating capacity. They can be picked up at the Fine Arts Box Office in the lobby of the Marroney Theater or at the door.
