The Arizona women's basketball team held off the Women of Troy 78-74, in Los Angeles last night to gain a key conference road victory.
Sophomore guard Aimee Grzyb led the UA charge with 15 points, and senior Elizabeth Pickney added 14 points and 11 boards.
The Wildcats improve their record to 8-9 overall and even their Pacific 10 Conference record at 4-4. The Trojans fall to 5-3 in the Pac-10 and 9-8 overall.
USC played without three key players last night - starting forward Ebony Hoffman (ejection) and starting guards Tiffany Elmore (ankle) and Aisha Hollans (team violation).
The Wildcat's took advantage of the depleted USC lineup with five UA players scoring in double-digits
Arizona takes on the UCLA Bruins tomorrow at Pauley Pavilion.
