If they are going to bring the bloodmobile, they better bring Bloodman, too! The American Red Cross is back again today near the cactus garden with its trusty plasma-to-go bloodmobile to take your donation. Thanks to the University Activities Board, members of the Red Cross will be available to draw blood from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information about the blood drives, contact January Terry at 621-9763.

Maybe the blood donation took some juice out of you and now you're upset because you didn't hit the gym today. Well, go down to the Centennial Hall box office and find out more about the National Acrobats of China. The troupe from the Far East displays its mastery of the Fu Hsing Dramatic Arts Academy of Taipei's Han Dynasty techniques. That means flames, high-flying trickery and dazzling agility. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets range from $26 to $38. For more information, call the box office at 621-3341 or visit UApresents on the Internet at http://uapresents.arizona.edu/0102performance.html.

If someone close to you needs some help but doesn't have the power to do it alone, head down to DuVal Auditorium at the University Medical Center from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a lecture by Patti Harada, a UA psychologist of love and spirituality instructor. Harada will offer techniques for helping others get help. The seminar costs $10 for the general public and $5 for students, staff and faculty. For more information, contact Harada at 886-6046, e-mail her at patti@lovematters.net or visit the Web site at http://www.lovematters.net.

A weekly fixture at the UA, the French and Italian Film Series, Spring 2002, continues to roll every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tonight's installment features "Les Rivieres Pourpres," a French film shot in 2000. Drop by the Modern Languages building, Room 304, to catch the flick. For more information, contact Katy Ferreira at 621-7349, e-mail her at katyf@u.arizona.edu or visit the Web site at http://www.coh.arizona.edu/french/french.html.

The new Integrated Learning Center is comprised of many materials. One building block common to the center - and the entire universe - is the atom. Join Supapan Seraphin as he presents "Exploring the Micro World: Have you Seen Atoms?" from 12:15 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. in the ILC, Room 150. The series is free and open to everyone. For more information about "The Speaker Series: Building Academic Community," contact Jael Walker at 621-7060, or e-mail him at osegoj@email.arizona.edu.
