Hollowell feels no pressure as ace of Wildcats
She may as well have been born with a halo over her head, because to the Arizona softball team, freshman Alicia Hollowell is an angel.
With the poise and confidence she displays on the mound, it seems as though Hollowell has been pitching in an Arizona uniform for years.
After last weekend's undeniably toughest road trip the Wildcats will face all year under her belt, Hollowell walked away with a three-game weekend sweep over the No. 1 and No. 4 teams in the nation, two shutouts and a .33 ERA.

Commentary: Circus comes to Augusta National
The sports world is a very strange place these days and definitely getting stranger.
The Kansas City Royals are undefeated, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays have more wins than the Arizona Diamondbacks, a team with an orange as its mascot won the NCAA Basketball National Championship and Lebron James is joking about attending college.
Yet, all of this madness has been overshadowed now that our country is at war. It is a sobering thought to know that while I roam our beautiful campus, with palm trees swaying in the warm spring breeze, people my own age are in Iraq strapped with M-16 machine guns, fighting for people they have never met rather than sitting at Dirtbag's enjoying a frosty cold one.

Club volleyball off to national tournament
The UA men's club volleyball team begins its title defense today at the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association Volleyball Sport Club Championships in Columbus, Ohio.
The Wildcats' A team, the defending national champions and the No. 2 ranked team in the country will seek its fourth title in the past six years. The B team, which is ranked No. 19 and won the Division II championship last year, will not get a chance to defend its title, as it has moved up to Division I for this season.
