10th-Annual Student Showcase Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Main Library.
The Graduate and Professional Student Council is hosting the nation's largest research fair to display the research of undergraduate and graduate students from every department. Exhibits will show sculptures, music and academic research.

Bear Down Bash Friday, 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Bear Down Gym.
All alumni are invited to Bear Down Gym to kick-off Homecoming weekend events. There will be a buffet dinner, drinks and music for all involved. Reservations are required. Contact the Arizona Alumni Association at 621-7576 or 800-BEAT-ASU, or go to the Homecoming Web site at http://www.uagrad.org/Homecoming/hc_02.htm.

Bonfire Pep Rally Friday 8 p.m .-8:30 p.m. located on the west side of Old Main.
Alumni, students, cheerleaders and coaches gather to cheer the Wildcats to victory against UCLA. Homecoming royalty will also be crowned.

International Arts Society Film Series "Vanya on 42nd Street" playing in the Modern Languages building auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
A movie about a group of friends in street clothes who not only perform a play within a movie, but give viewers an inside view of each character's life. Actors include Julianne Moore, Wallace Shawn and Larry Pine. The story is based on the play "Uncle Vanya" by Anton Chekhov. Approximately 120 minutes.

Homecoming Breakfast Saturday, 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Centrum in the Architecture building. Reservations required.
Acting Dean Corky Poster hosts a breakfast to welcome back alumni and friends. Eddie Jones of Jones Studio will unveil plans for the new College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture building. To make reservations, call Kristal Jones-MacDough at 626-7466.

Tents on the Mall are scheduled for 1 p.m. to 6 p.m on Saturday.
Alumni and students can walk on the UA Mall and participate in activities and entertainment provided by campus organizations and Homecoming. Homecoming registration will also be held here from noon to 5:30 p.m.

Arizona Repertory Theatre presents ÎThe Three Sisters' matinee, Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Laboratory Theatre.
A story about the dreams, desires and hopes of three sisters growing up in a small town in Russia and their adventures trying to get out of the small town and into a big city. The UA School of Theatre Arts presents this play by Anton Chekhov and directed by Samantha Wyer. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $18 for senior citizens and UA employees, and $14 for students.

Homecoming Parade, Saturday 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Over 100 parade entries will circle the UA Mall heading west from North Campbell Avenue, around Old Main and then back east to Campbell in celebration of Homecoming weekend.

UA Wildcats vs. UCLA Bruins Football Game at Arizona Stadium, Saturday, kickoff at 7:07 p.m.

UApresents: The Shanghai Ballet performs "Coppelia," Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at Centennial Hall.
The 23-year-old Shanghai Ballet presents the choreography of Arthur Saint-LŽon, in the ballet "Coppelia," the treasured ballet in three acts about a beautiful doll that comes to life. Tickets range from $30 to $60, contact Centennial Hall Box Office at 621-3341 for more information.

Men's Basketball Tip-off Luncheon Monday at noon at Lowe's Ventana Canyon Resort.
Join the UA Men's Basketball Team, Head Coach Lute Olsen and his assistant coaches at a the 2002 Tip-off Luncheon. Tickets are $30 per person. Contact Jill Hall at 621-2331 for more information.

Arizona Women's Basketball- Hungarian Team Exhibition Game, Monday at 7 p.m. at the McKale Memorial Center.
