Theater major struts her stuff in plays, aspires to be a drummer and wants to star on Broadway
WILDCAT: So, what musicals have you been in?
WOODS: Thus far I've performed in "Oklahoma," and then I was in "Encore," which is like a freshman touring show and that's it so far.
WILDCAT: So fun! I am secretly jealous of you. Did you get to speak with an accent?
WOODS: Yes I did.
WILDCAT: That is awesome! I want to move someplace just so I can acquire an accent, and then, when I come back people will say "Wow! You have such a cool accent."
WOODS: It was so much fun.
WILDCAT: I bet. I used to want to be an actress. · Well, I kinda still do.
WOODS: Ahh · I want to be on Braodway.
WILDCAT: Awesome. This could be your big break. Right now, I hear that a lot of Broadway directors read On the Spot. So, if you had to be someone in the band that plays for the musicals, what instrument would you like to play?
WOODS: Oh, the drums.
WILDCAT: Would you play the drums on your stomach?
WOODS: Oh, hell yeah.
WILDCAT: Yeah? You could totally start a body band with your friends.
WOODS: I know.
WILDCAT: Someone could play their armpit, and someone else can play their cheeks. Ooh, I could do that. I totally have chipmunk cheeks ÷ that would be so great!
WOODS: We should do it.
WILDCAT: Where are you from?
WOODS: Southern California.
WILDCAT: Very sunny. Why did you come to the desert?
WOODS: Because U of A has a really good theater program.
WILDCAT: I had no idea. That's good to know. I'll be sure to start going to plays since they won't be terrible. The theater building over there is way nice.
