A man exposed himself to two women in the parking lot of Sky View Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., around 3 a.m. Thursday, reports stated.

The women were leaving their car to enter the building when they saw the man with his jeans around his ankles, exposing his flaccid penis, reports stated.

The man began to shake his body as if dancing, and the women asked him if he was "on drugs." He began to nod his head in an exaggerated manner with his mouth open, reports stated.

The women entered the building and looked out to see the man still half naked and shaking his body. He asked the women to flash him and started fondling his genitals and moaning at them, reports stated.

The man left the property, and UAPD could not find him.

The women did not want to press charges but wanted him warned to stay away from the apartment complex, reports stated.

Two men were arrested for trespassing and singing on top of a dirt mound at a construction site near East Helen Street and North Martin Avenue at 10:36 p.m. Thursday, reports stated.

The police asked the men what they were doing on the property. They said they decided to climb the "dirt mountain" and sing songs, reports stated.

The men said they knew they were trespassing and saw the sign that read "Construction Personnel Only" and barbed wire, but decided to do it anyway, reports stated.

The men were cited and released.

A man carrying a bicycle tire stole three textbooks from the UofA Bookstore, 1209 E. University Blvd., at 8:17 a.m. Thursday, reports stated.

The man entered the bookstore with the tire, and the employee running the security camera followed him with the camera, reports stated.

The employee watched as the man took three textbooks off the shelf and looked around suspiciously before putting the books under his coat, reports stated.

The man left the building, and UAPD could not find him.

Police called the surrounding bookstores, Rother's Bookstore and Arizona Bookstore, to tell them to be on the lookout for the man.

At 9:05 a.m., an employee of Scholar's Bookstore, 2644 E. Speedway Blvd., reported that a man fitting the description tried unsuccessfully to sell the books at their store, reports stated.

The man was last seen taking the books and walking from the business.

A man was arrested Wednesday morning after stealing a $500 red gas-powered Go-Ped scooter near the 1300 block of North Mountain Avenue, reports stated.

A woman saw the man trying to cut the lock and said, "Hey, leave that there." The man said, "It's mine," and rode off on the scooter, reports stated.

When officers caught up to the man at North Park Avenue and East Adams Street, he admitted to stealing the scooter, reports stated.

The man was arrested and later released.

A student's Java Software textbook was stolen sometime between Feb. 14 and Wednesday from a computer lab in the Harvill building, 1103 E. Second St., reports stated.

The student put the book in her backpack at 9 p.m. on Feb. 14 and went to the bathroom. When she was done in the bathroom, she left the building and went home, reports stated.

She discovered the book was missing on Wednesday when she returned to the building for her computer class at 1 p.m., reports stated.

She said there were a lot of people in the computer lab that day and didn't know who could have taken it, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student's $300 red mountain bike was stolen from Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1010 N. Park Ave., on Saturday, reports stated.

The student locked his bike to the racks on the south side of the building on Feb. 13 at 3 p.m., and when he returned Saturday at 2:20 p.m., the bike was missing, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A $100 red bike was stolen from the Physics- Atmospheric Sciences building, 1118 E. Fourth St., Thursday, reports stated.

The owner locked the bike to the racks on the north side of the building at 2 p.m. When she returned at 2:50 p.m., the bike was missing, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
