Police were called when somebody saw the words "welcome to the monkey house" spray painted on the north exit stairwell of the Integrated Learning Center, 1500 E. University Blvd., on Sept. 19, reports stated.

The graffiti was sprayed with black paint and police have no suspects or witnesses.

A UA student flagged down an officer after a woman drove onto the basketball court of the Delta Chi fraternity house, 1701 E. First St., and nearly hit people sitting on the front steps on Sept. 21, reports stated.

The woman drove up onto the basketball court at 1:17 a.m. and cut a "doughnut," leaving scuffmarks on the court. Witnesses who were standing at the back door said the woman came within 10 feet of them, reports stated.

One witness recognized the male passenger in the car, a tan Honda. The man was an evicted member of the fraternity. The witness, speaking for the fraternity, said he would press charges if they were found.

Police have the name of the passenger and are attempting to find him, reports stated.

A student reported his bike stolen from Cochise Residence Hall, 1018 E. South Campus Drive, on Sept. 20, reports stated.

The student locked his bike to a rack at 1 p.m. When he returned an hour later, he found his bike lock on the ground broken in half, reports stated.

The bike, an olive green Specialized Rock Hopper, was worth $500. Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

Police were called to the Arizona/Sonora Residence Hall, 910 E. Fifth St., after a student was seen drinking a 40-ounce can of beer on Sept. 19, reports stated.

When police arrived at 1:24 a.m., they saw the student urinating in the AZ/SO parking lot. The student said he was just playing volleyball in front of the residence hall, reports stated.

The student eventually admitted to drinking the beer and said he "just gave it to some guy," reports stated.

The student was cited with criminal littering and a minor in possession charge.

Two students were cited on minor in possession charges after a police officer saw them drinking alcohol in the Arizona/Sonora Residence Hall parking lot on Sept. 19, reports stated.

The officer saw the students drinking from bottles of Miller Lite while patrolling the area. He watched the students drinking for five minutes than approached them, reports stated.

When they saw the officer, the students dropped the beers on the ground. Both admitted to drinking and were found to be less than 21 years old, reports stated.

They were both cited and released, reports stated.

A student called UAPD after he saw a man stealing a bike locked to a rack at 1235 E. North Campus Drive, on Sept. 19, reports stated.

The student said he saw a man unlatch the tire off a bike whose frame was locked to a rack. The man then unlatched a bike whose front tire was locked to a rack. He put the stolen front tire onto the stolen bike and rode away, reports stated.

The witness said the white male was in his 20s, between 145 to 160 pounds and between 5 foot 6 inches and 5 foot 8 inches, reports stated.

The owners of the stolen bike and the stolen bike tire reported that they had parked their bikes at 1:33 p.m. The witness said the bike was stolen at 1:39 p.m.

UAPD arrested a man after he was found to have four outstanding warrants on Sept. 19 at 2:08 p.m., reports stated.

An officer found the man sleeping on a bench on the corner of East Speedway Boulevard and North Warren Avenue. After waking the man and running his name through the police database, the officer learned that the man had been previously arrested for indecent exposure, assault, resisting arrest, urinating in public and possession of drug paraphernalia, reports stated.

The man was arrested and booked in Pima County Jail, reports stated.

A man claiming to be a UA psychology graduate called the Faculty Center to file a complaint against the school for "atrocities to this country," on Sept. 18, reports stated.

The person who fielded the call said the man was very agitated and angry. She said he was rambling on and became more threatening as the call continued, reports stated.

The man did not leave a last name because he feared retaliation. The person who answered the phone was instructed to call UAPD if the man called again, reports stated.
