More than $650 worth of audio equipment was stolen from a student's Nissan pickup Wednesday afternoon while it was parked at 2603 E. First St, reports stated.

A man witnessed three men in a Honda SUV drive up to the Nissan and break into it.

The man was unable to get the Honda's license plate number, reports stated.

The small window behind the passenger-side window was broken and the dashboard was damaged, reports stated.

Police are still investigating.


A student was assaulted Wednesday afternoon while walking on the corner of East Sixth Street and North Stone Avenue, reports stated.

A woman from Campus Health Service called police and told them about the assault.

The student had already left Campus Health after being treated.

Police called the student, who said he was fine and didn't want to press charges, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A student's car was broken into at the Delta Chi fraternity house, 1701 E. First St., on Wednesday, reports stated.

The student said he had parked his car around 1 a.m., and when he returned around 1 p.m., he saw that his driver-side window was shattered and the vinyl paneling on both doors was damaged.

Two wallets, a $290 pair of sunglasses, two credit cards and $135 in cash were stolen from the vehicle, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A man with three outstanding warrants was bothering people in a laundry mat at 1624 E. Sixth St. Wednesday night, reports stated.

Police were called to the laundry mat after several customers complained about him.

Police then discovered that the man had three outstanding warrants from the Tucson Police Department, reports stated.

The man was handcuffed and booked into Pima County Jail.


A student' license plate was stolen Wednesday afternoon while his car was parked in a Zone 1 lot at 1110 N. Cherry Ave., reports stated.

The man said that he wasn't sure if the plate had been stolen while he was at home or while he was at school.

He didn't notice until he got out of class at 1:45 p.m. that the plate was gone, reports stated.


A $200 Mongoose bike was stolen Wednesday afternoon from the Optical Sciences building, 1630 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The owner said he had locked the bike around 1 p.m., and when he returned around 2 p.m., the bike was gone.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A man was arrested on the corner of North Campbell Avenue and East Elm Street Wednesday afternoon for displaying a fake license plate, reports stated.

Police stopped the man for speeding.

They discovered that his registration had expired September 2003, even though the man had an expiration tag of September 2004 on his license plate.

The man was cited and released, reports stated.

The plate was placed into evidence.


A $400 dark blue bike was stolen Wednesday form the UA Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd, reports stated.

The owner of the bike said that he had locked the bike with a Kryptonite lock around 1 p.m.

When he returned around 7 p.m., the bike was gone, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A $225 silver bike was stolen from the Marroney Theatre, 1025 N. Olive Road, Wednesday afternoon, reports stated.

The owner said she locked the bike with a U-lock and a cable lock.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
