A student passed out on the second floor of Coronado Residence Hall, 822 E. Fifth St., around 9 p.m. Thursday, reports stated.

The student's friend said she had consumed at least three beers and three mixed drinks at a sorority date dash earlier that night, reports stated.

When police arrived, the woman was conscious and breathing but was not speaking or responding to the officers' voices, reports stated.

Tucson Fire Department took the student to University Medical Center.

The woman was awake and alert at the hospital and admitted she had been drinking and that was why she passed out, reports stated.

The woman was cited and released for minor in possession.

A man was caught trespassing at the Biological Sciences West building, 1041 E. Lowell St., early Thursday morning, reports stated.

The man had two glass pipes with residue in his sweatshirt pocket, reports stated.

The man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from another county, reports stated.

The man was arrested and taken to Pima County Jail for charges of drug paraphernalia, and booked on the warrant.

A student's $1,500 Compaq Presario laptop was reported stolen Thursday, from a room in the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences building, 1118 E. Fourth St., reports stated.

The student last saw his computer at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

When another student who had access to the room went to use the computer at 9 p.m., he discovered it was missing but didn't think much of it because sometimes the owner took the computer home on the weekends, reports stated.

When the owner returned to the room at 9 a.m. on Thursday it was not there.

There are other students that have keys to the room and are authorized to use the computer, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student's bike was stolen from the bike racks on the south side of Pinal Residence Hall, 1511 E. Sixth St, reports stated.

The student last saw her bike at 3 p.m. on Jan. 20. When she returned at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the bike was missing, reports stated.

A professor in the College of Medicine, 1501 N. Campbell Ave., received a suspicious e-mail from an unknown source Thursday, reports stated.

The e-mail voiced disapproval of the professor performing spinal surgery on rats, reports stated.

The e-mail called the professor a sadist and suggested he leave town, reports stated.

The e-mail contained no threat, but the recipient felt threatened by the statement, "I suggest you leave town," reports stated.

The professor will press charges if the sender is later identified or if the sender tries to contact him again, reports stated.

A woman was seen searching through the trash behind Greasy Tony's, 828 E. Speedway Blvd., around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, and was asked to leave the property, reports stated.

The woman drove away in a car that police found to be displaying a fictitious license plate. An officer pulled her over at East First Street and North Euclid Avenue, reports stated.

After being pulled over, the woman got out of her car and the officer asked her to get back in her car. The officer noticed the woman was nervous and could not sit still, reports stated.

The officer noticed a needle next to the emergency brake in the woman's car. She said it belonged to her friend and she "guessed" he used it for drugs, reports stated.

The officer also found numerous needles, marijuana seeds, a glass pipe, and other drug paraphernalia, reports stated.

The woman was cited and released for marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and displaying a fictitious license plate.

A $1,730 custom-built bike was stolen from the bike racks on the west side of the Arizona Health Sciences Center, 1501 N. Campbell Ave., Jan. 20, reports stated.

The student locked the bike to the rack at 12:45 p.m. and when he returned at 3 p.m., the bike and lock were missing, reports stated.
