Someone threw a brick through a student's car window sometime before Thursday morning at the Faculty Center, 1400 E. Mabel St., reports stated.

An employee noticed the damaged car on her way to work and contacted police, reports stated.

Police arrived on the scene to find the right passenger window shattered and a red brick on the floor of the car, reports stated.

Police contacted the student, who said he parked his car Wednesday around midnight, reports stated.

The student did not have any suspects in mind if the damage was intentional, reports stated.

The student gave police permission to fingerprint the car and the brick, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


Someone broke a porch window sometime Thursday at the Writing Skills Improvement Program Annex, 1221 E. Helen St., reports stated.

Police found the glass on the window was damaged in several spots and found a rock near the porch, reports stated.

The employee who reported the incident said nothing was missing from inside the annex, reports stated.

Police found no signs of entry into the building, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


A student's purse and other items were stolen Wednesday from her room in Manzanita-Mohave Residence Hall, 1010 N. Park Ave., reports stated.

The student said the purse was stolen from her unlocked room, reports stated.

Inside the student's purse was a driver's license, a debit card and $40 cash, reports stated.

The student called her bank to report the missing debit card, reports stated.

The student said her $400 digital camera was also missing, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


Someone stole a student's purse Wednesday from the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student said she left her purse at the student union at noon, returned at 1:40 p.m. and the purse was missing, reports stated.

The student told police the purse contained her cell phone, keys, CatCard and driver's license, reports

stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


An employee contacted police Thursday to report damage to a student's car in a Zone 1 lot, 1015 E. Helen St., reports stated.

A softball-sized rock was thrown through the driver's-side window, reports stated.

Parking and Transportation Services contacted the student to tell him about the damage to his car, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.


Someone broke into a student's car sometime before Thursday morning in Park Avenue Parking Garage, 1140 N. Park Ave., reports stated.

An employee noticed a damaged vehicle around 12:40 a.m. with a broken passenger window and the passenger door ajar and contacted police, reports stated.

Police searched the area for suspects in case the crime was still in progress, reports stated.

Police arrived on the scene and found the window was completely shattered and items inside the car were scattered around, reports stated.

Police contacted the student and he gave permission to fingerprint the car, reports stated.

The student requested that police collect the items in the car so someone else did not steal them, reports stated.

Police collected several compact discs, a tape deck that was lying on the passenger's seat, two pairs of bifocal glasses and a stereo face-plate on the floor, reports stated.

Police put the items in a secure place, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.
