Sexual assault probe closed

Lack of evidence cited in case where 2 student athletes were questioned

Authorities closed an investigation involving a UA student who said she was sexually assaulted at a campus fraternity house last spring, according to a police report released Thursday.

The student alleged in April she was sexually assaulted in a community shower at a party at the Sigma Pi fraternity house, 1525 E. Drachman St., but decided June 15 she no longer wanted to press charges, reports stated. [Read article]

QB Kovalcheck leads offense on two TD drives

The Arizona football team closed its fall camp Saturday night, putting a heavy emphasis on the passing game in a 75-play intra-squad scrimmage.

The Wildcats started the game with 11 passes in the first 13 plays and got good production out of the three quarterbacks - junior Adam Austin, redshirt sophomore Richard Kovalcheck and freshman Willie Tuitama -expected to line up under center this season. [Read article]

When people say a film is independent, this is not always indicative of a particular style or genre, but merely a limited budget and release. But in the case of "Me and You and Everyone We Know," there is no other real way to describe it. It is a quintessential independent film, and it is unlike any other.

The story for "Me and You and Everyone We Know" is original and offbeat and does not follow the conventional rules of screenwriting that most writers follow. Writer/ director Miranda July stars as Christine Jesperson, a starving artist who drives old people around to earn a living.
