Men's Hoops: Cats, Huskies fight for top spot
ARIZONA VS. WASHINGTON
First place in the Pacific 10 Conference will be up for grabs when the No. 10 Washington Huskies battle the No. 11 Arizona Wildcats tonight at 6:30 in McKale Center.
Because Washington (16-2, 6-1 Pac-10) handled Arizona (16-3, 6-1) three times last season, including once in the Pac-10 tournament in March, this game figures to be more than a matchup between two highly ranked teams.

Women's Hoops: 4,700 on hand for Cats' win over ASU
UA 56, ASU 49
In a hunt for revenge and sole possession of third place in the Pacific 10 Conference, the Arizona women's basketball team (15-5, 7-3 Pac-10) knocked off in-state rival ASU 56-49 last night in McKale Center in front of 4,710 fans.
"I'm just so proud of our team," said UA head coach Joan Bonvicini. "ASU is a very good basketball team. Both teams are very physical. It was not real pretty in the first half - (there were) a lot of turnovers. We really were rushing ourselves on the offense."

Women's Tennis gets 2nd chance at 1st home meet
After being rained out last weekend, the Arizona women's tennis team gets a second chance for playing its first home meet of the 2005 season.
The No. 42 Wildcats face the University of Texas-El Paso Miners today at 1:30 p.m. at LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
The match will be part of a dual-meet over the weekend featuring Arizona, UTEP and No. 39 Sacramento State.
The Wildcats and Hornets will play Saturday at noon, while both visiting schools meet up tomorrow.
