Someone broke a window Wednesday at Kappa Kappa Gamma, 1435 E. Second St., reports stated.

Three women told police they were in a room at 2:35 p.m. when they heard a loud bang on the window right before the glass shattered, reports stated.

None of the women saw the person who broke it or how the person left the scene, reports stated.

Police checked the area for blood and fingerprints but found none, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student's bike was stolen Wednesday outside of the Anthropology building, 1009 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

The student said she arrived at the bike rack outside the building around 11 a.m. but there was no room to lock up her bike, reports stated.

Instead, she locked up her bike to a chain-link fence with a U-Lock and went to class, reports stated.

The student returned at 3:20 p.m. and found the chain-link fence had been cut and her bike was nowhere in sight, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

An employee contacted police Wednesday after she saw a suspicious man enter the Forbes building, 1140 E. South Campus Drive, reports stated.

The employee told police a man in his early 20s entered the mailroom at 3 p.m. and said he was looking for a doctor's mailbox, reports stated.

The employee had never seen the man before, reports stated.

The man left the mailroom and went into the hallway to make a call on his cell phone, reports stated.

The employee said the man acted like he was talking to the doctor and told him he did not have any packages, reports stated.

The employee told police the man made her uncomfortable, reports stated.

After the man left the building, the employee asked the doctor if he spoke to anyone about a package and the doctor said he had not, reports stated.

A student's $200 laptop computer was stolen sometime Wednesday morning from an office in the Marley building, 1145 E. Fourth St., reports stated.

The student said she left the room around midnight and locked the office door behind her, reports stated.

She returned later that morning around 8 a.m. and her laptop was missing but the power cord and mouse were still in the office, reports stated.

The student told police surveillance cameras in the building might have captured the person who stole the laptop, reports stated.

Police contacted the camera operator and are waiting for him to send them images of the building around the time the laptop was stolen, reports stated.

Someone attempted to steal a student's car Wednesday from Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., reports stated.

The student parked her car around 7 p.m. and returned the next day at 5:39 p.m. to find her car had been vandalized, reports stated.

Both door locks on the car had been punched out and there was damage to the trunk lock, the ignition and the hood catch, but nothing had been stolen, reports stated.

Police attempted to lift fingerprints but found none, reports stated.

A woman reported patio furniture missing and damage to her car Wednesday at Sigma Kappa, 1588 E. First St., reports stated.

The woman said four rod-iron chairs with flower decorations were missing from the backyard and front yard, reports stated.

The woman told police someone tried to break into her car, reports stated.

Police found the passenger handle was broken, and the door lock had been punched in. Police said it appeared the damage was done with a screwdriver, reports stated.

The woman's car was parked in the parking lot behind Sigma Kappa, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

A student's bike was stolen Wednesday from the bike racks in front of the Communication building, 1103 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student said he used a U-Lock through the back tire and a cable through the front tire and frame, reports stated.

The student returned a few hours later and the bike was gone, reports stated.
