A student's car was keyed while parked in front of Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., sometime Sunday night, reports stated.

The student told police he parked his car around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, and when he returned at approximately 8:40 a.m. on Monday, he found his car had been keyed on the driver's side behind the door, reports stated.

A note was also left on his window stating, "Don't park like an ass! Learn how to fit your car in a single parking space," reports stated.

The student told police he did not know who would do this, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

An unknown person broke two windows in the Forbes building, 1140 E. South Campus Drive, sometime over the weekend, reports stated.

An employee told police someone broke two windows on the south end of the building's first floor, reports stated.

It is unknown what object was used to break the window, reports stated.

Police found no investigative leads and have no suspects or witnesses.

A student was diverted to the dean of students for possession of a stolen Zone 1 parking permit Monday, reports stated.

The student told police he was walking in a Zone 1 lot approximately two or three weeks ago and noticed a parking permit lying on the ground, reports stated.

He did not see any cars in the area and picked up the permit but did not report finding it, reports stated.

The student admitted he used the permit four or five times, reports stated.

He expressed his regrets for using the permit and said he would pay the fines from Parking and Transportation Services, reports stated.

A student's Jeep Cherokee was stolen from a Zone 1 lot, 1151 N. Vine Road, sometime between Sunday and Monday, reports stated.

The student told police he parked his car in the lot on Sunday at 11 p.m., and he noticed his car was missing on Monday at 4 p.m., reports stated.

He told police that all the windows and doors were locked and secured, reports stated.

There was no broken glass left where his car was parked, and he told police he has the only set of keys and is the only authorized driver of the car, reports stated.

Police have no suspects or witnesses.

The chain-link fence of the bike compound at Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., was cut sometime over the weekend, reports stated.

A student told police the fence of the south side of the compound was cut, reports stated.

He was unsure if any bikes were stolen, reports stated.

An unknown person vandalized the men's third-floor bathroom stall wall, the fourth-floor doors, the elevator floor directory and the Louise F. Marshall Catalina Room wall in the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd., sometime over the weekend, reports stated.

An employee told police someone vandalized the walls with a black and white marker. The white marker appeared to be liquid paper, reports stated.

The writing was illegible, reports stated.

The person appeared to have CatCard access to the third floor area Catalina Room and men's bathroom, reports stated.

The employee told police she did not suspect anyone in particular but is going to look into employees who work night shifts, reports stated.

She told police this was not the only incident. There have been past reports of vandalism of the employee men's bathroom, but it is unknown if the incidents are related, reports stated.

Police have no investigative leads, suspects or witnesses.

A woman reported damage to her car and missing patio furniture from Sigma Kappa's sorority house Feb. 4, reports stated.

She told police the house was missing four wrought iron chairs; two from the west patio and two from the east patio, reports stated.

The woman also told police her car was damaged from an attempted burglary, reports stated.

The front passenger door handle had been broken and the door lock had been punched out, reports stated.

She told police she did not think the person made entry because nothing was missing and the doors were locked, reports stated.

The woman had parked her car in the alley in the Sigma Kappa lot, reports stated.
