With a 4-2 win over No. 4 Fresno State last weekend, the Arizona softball team won its 16th-straight game and the championship of the Hillenbrand Invitational.

The third-ranked Wildcats (20-2) fought their way to the title game with wins over No. 12 Michigan, No. 9 Oklahoma and North Carolina.

In the Wildcats' 18-9 victory over the Tar Heels, senior second baseman Jenny Dalton paced the Wildcats at the plate going 3-for-3 with a two-run home run, and a two-run single. The home run was Dalton's ninth of the year. First baseman Tiana Hejduk was 3-for-3 and smacked her first home run of the year. She added a double, two runs scored and 3 RBI.

The Wildcats were away from competition for the rest of spring break and will not be back in action until Thursday, when they start play at the PONY Invitational in Fullerton, Calif.
