- The UA baseball team starts the first game of a three-game weekend series against the University of New Mexico at 2:30 p.m. at Sancet Field.
- The UA women's basketball team runs against the University of Oregon at 7 p.m. at McKale Center.
- Comedy Corner presents its first regular sketches for the semester at noon in the Student Union Cellar Theater. Shows will be held at noon every Friday for the entire semester, excluding holidays.
- UA Presents presents "Eiko & Koma in Wind" by the Millennium Project featuring ancient Japanese rituals at 8 p.m. at Centennial Hall.
- The 7th Annual Undergraduate Biology Research Program Poster Conference is tomorrow from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Life Sciences South Building, fourth and fifth floors. The 7th Annual Undergraduate Biology Research Program Conference is also held tomor row, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Life Sciences South Building.
- The Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Amnesty International present two lectures by Ann Elizabeth Mayer, professor of legal studies at the University of Pennsylvania. "Islam and Human Rights" is at 3 p.m., and "Women's Human Rights: Islamic and C onstitutional Objections" is at 5:30 p.m. Both lectures are in Franklin 201.
- The African American Studies Department presents Dr. Cornell West, distinguished scholar, author and civil rights advocate, giving a lecture tomorrow at 4 p.m. in the Student Union Arizona Ballroom. Call 621-5664 for more information.
